  • How should I store my products?
You can store your purchase in a cool, dry place. While you are welcome to store your products in the refrigerator, it is not necessary. The Body Butters are heat sensitive so it is important to control their climate. We recommend storing our vape products upright to avoid leaking. The Herbal Bath Tea may have spots on bag, this is a natural process as the hemp flower contains oils. Depending on how long you have the infused honey, you may want to give it a stir. If it does crystalize you can simply reconstitute using a double broiler technique.
  • What is Delta 9 THC?
California became the first state to legalize medical cannabis in 1996. This trend reached other states by 2016 when Colorado and Washington became the first states to legalize Delta-9 THC for recreational use. Since then, 37 states have legalized medical use, and 18 states legalized recreational use. Delta-9 THC, short for Delta 9 tetrahydrocannabinol, is mostly known to be a cannabinoid molecule naturally occurring in marijuana and hemp plants. There are currently 124 known cannabinoids out of 400; Delta-9 THC is one of them. Delta-9 THC can have psychoactive properties in high doses and carries many health benefits. It has been reported to help with sleep, anxiety, moods, stress, nausea, and pain management. Potential benefits of consuming delta-9 THC may include: Relaxation Decreased anxiety Increased appetite Feelings of happiness or exhilaration Heightened imagination Improved sensory perception Studies show using delta-9 THC may have therapeutic benefits for certain conditions, including nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, seizure disorders, chronic pain, spasticity associated with multiple sclerosis (MS) and sleep disorders in people with other chronic conditions, says Dr. Gordon.
  • How do I measure out my CBD?

  • What is full-spectrum distillate?
“Full-spectrum CBD is an extract that contains all compounds found naturally occurring in the plant, including terpenes, essential oils, and other cannabinoids.” —CBD Origin This is the first result after the CO2 distillation process. This would be considered your purest form of the plant profile. From there, it can be broken down even further, pulling out specific cannabinoids and terpenes. This would then be called a narrow spectrum. Then the final process is isolating whichever compound is needed, like CBD. The cannabinoids included in our CBD vape products are, CBDV, CBG, CBN, CBC, and of course CBD. Is CBD isolate better than full spectrum or vice versa? This has been a topic of debate since CBD research began. The reality is that each option has its benefits, and sometimes one works better than the other or both work best together depending on your reason for using it. At CBD Therapy, we offer both options so you can decide.
  • What is Delta-8 THC?
Delta-8 THC (Δ8 THC, delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol) is an isomer of CBD and another cannabinoid found in hemp and hemp extracts. While Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC have similar names, they are distinctly different compounds with distinctly different characteristics. Delta-8 has a lower psychotropic potency than its close cousin delta-9 THC. Currently, based on theH.R. 2: The Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018, hemp-derived delta 8 is federally legal. However, due to Delta-8 THC either being illegal or not explicitly legal according to the following state laws, this product does not ship to the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah.
  • Will I fail a drug test?
We are not legally able to make any claims, guarantees, or recommendations regarding our natural cannabidiol products and drug tests. Our products are third-party tested to ensure they contain less than 0.3% THC. If failing a drug test is a concern, we recommend not consuming any CBD products and/or doing further research at ProjectCBD.org before making the decision to consume any CBD.
  • Final thoughts on Delta-8
With Delta 8 THC having minimal drug testing research, it is not clear if a consumer taking these products would fail or pass a drug test, but because it is so closely related to Δ9 THC it is possible it can show up positively on a drug test. It is advised that the use of any products that contain THC content should be used at your own discretion. Our Delta-8 THC is legal according to federal law and many state laws. Our Delta-8 THC extract 100% derived from legal hemp and does not contain more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC. However, we do not guarantee that this product is legal in your state or territory. When traveling back home we suggest doing your research. We retain the right to not ship to any states or territories where local laws conflict with H.R. 2: The Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018, also known as the 2018 Farm Bill. CBD Therapy is not responsible for knowing whether this product is legal in a customer’s state or territory. They assume full responsibility for all parts pertaining to their purchase. Note that the information contained on these pages and website is for informational purposes only. It is not legal advice. We try to stay as up to date as possible on all state and federal laws, the laws, especially at the state level, that are constantly changing. We do not ship hemp derived Delta products to the following states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, New York, North Dakota , Rhode Island, Utah, and Vermont

  • What is HHC?
HHC (hexahydrocannabinol) was first created by Roger Adams in 1944 when he added hydrogen molecules to Delta-9 THC during a process called hydrogenation. Today, Hemp-derived CBD acts as the base for the chemical reaction that creates HHC with little to no detected THC in the final product. This makes it legal in arguably all 50 states due to the 2018 Farm Bill. (We will stay safe and continue to ship where Delta-8 is legal.) HHC connects with cannabinoid receptors that already exist in our bodies; like other cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, and CBN. This can explain why HHC has many similar benefits to CBD. What is the difference if there are so many similarities? CBD does not provide psychoactive effects while HHC does. Although there is little research as of now, many have reported that HHC provides pain relief as well as: Reduces Inflammation Promotes better sleep May alleviate nausea or vomiting Euphoric feelings with a stimulating high The potency levels of HHC are often described as somewhere between Delta-8 and Delta-9, speaking in terms of psychoactive effects. Some of the key differences include its resistance to heat degradation (protecting it from thermo-oxidative breakdowns) and its shelf life! Both differences help to maintain the integrity, long term.
  • What is the purpose of the ECS in the body?
The endocannabinoid system is a complex cell-signaling system, and experts are still trying to comprehend ECS in its entirety. However, researchers have found that the ECS permeates all the main physiological systems in the body, working to handle the many functions needed for survival, and these include: Appetite, inflammation, chronic pain, mood, memory and learning, motor control, sleep and circadian rhythm, cardiovascular system function, muscle formation, bone remodeling and growth, liver function, reproductive system functions, as well as skin and nerve function All of these functions contribute to the stability of your internal environment, known as homeostasis. So, for example, if your body’s homeostasis is disrupted by something outside of it, such as pain from an injury or a fever, your ECS kicks in to help your body get back to how it should be working. Experts now believe that the ECS’s importance is maintaining homeostasis throughout all major body systems, securing they are all in harmony with one another. The ECS exists and is active in your body regardless of whether or not you use cannabis. In fact, our brains are full of tiny cannabis-like molecules. The cannabis plant, which people have been using for almost 5000 years, works its effects by taking over or hijacking these cells.
  • How exactly am I supposed to use CBD?
Below are some of the easiest ways to get your daily dose: Place it directly under your tongue: Place our CBD Tincture or Isolate directly under your tongue and hold it there for about 60 seconds. The CBD will then be delivered to your bloodstream via mucus membranes to provide the results you desire. Mix it into your beverages: Our CBD Honey, Isolate, and Tincture can be blended into any smoothie. The CBD isolate mixes easily into juice or any other liquid of your choice. The CBD-infused honey and isolate also dissolve great into your coffee or tea! Proponents, like Craig Leivent, PharmD, says that the combination of CBD and coffee will give you the alertness of coffee without the jitters. Apply it topically: Our CBD Roll On is great for massaging onto target spots and gentle enough to be applied to the face. Made with jojoba and vitamin E oils, the roll on is a soft and luxurious way to enjoy the benefits of cannabidiol. Vitamins A, C, E, and B are found in abundance in CBD, along with up to 20 amino acids and essential fatty acids, like omega-3 and omega-6. Our CBD Salve is another way to help soothe your skin against the elements we experience daily. CBD contains many amino acids, fatty acids, and omegas. Our CBD Body Butter has a consistency closer to a lotion. There is no added beeswax or water to this recipe, only pure and natural oils. Indulge and rub it all over, or use it for targeted spots. Smoke or vape it: If you're looking for immediate results, products that can be smoked or vaped might be your best option. CBD vaping has a faster absorption rate when compared to edibles or topicals. The CBD is absorbed into your bloodstream through the lungs. It is common for the effects to be felt immediately or within the next few minutes. CBD Therapy’s Individual Cartridge contains only full-spectrum distillate, giving you a variety in the plant. No extra added flavoring or preservatives. Nothing but the PLANT!
  • Can I make a change to my order after purchasing?
Please contact us immediately and we will do our best to change the order. Unfortunately no changes can be made to an order after shipping has occurred. We thank you for your understanding.
  • What is the relationship between CBD and THC?
CBD binds to both CB1 and CB2 receptors and does not inebriate like THC. In easier terms, they have an opposite cellular response. Since they have opposite responses, the assumption that they cancel their benefits out can be made. However, that is not necessarily true as it is reported that CBD can improve the therapeutic effects of THC by counteracting undesirable side effects such as paranoia and anxiety. It enables users to tolerate higher dosages.
  • Final thoughts on HHC
With HHC having minimal drug testing research, it is unclear if a consumer taking HHC products would fail or pass a drug test. However, the current molecular research on the product is favoring the idea that you can consume HHC and still pass. We do not encourage the use of HHC if you are needing to take a drug test and it should be used at your own discretion. The Farm Bill legally defines hemp as all parts of cannabis plants (that contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC), including isomers and derivatives. HHC is said to be found in the seeds and pollen of hemp plants and contain zero THC, making it legal. It is arguably legal in all 50 states due to this, but some say that it mimics THC’s effects so much that it could also be determined as a Schedule I drug.
  • Endocannabinoid Receptors and Enzymes
The receptors are present throughout the body. Endocannabinoids attach to them to communicate that it needs to act to your ECS. There are two main types of receptors for endocannabinoids: CB1 receptors – the “cannabinoid” receptors- are neurotransmitters more common in the brain than many other types of receptors. Most other neurotransmitters are controlled by how many are in the brain and how they act. They control things like hunger, body temperature, and alertness by getting immediate feedback and turning up or down the activity of whatever system needs to be changed. CB2 receptors – the second type of cannabinoid receptor. It is primarily found in our immune tissues and is important for controlling how our immune system works. It also helps prevent intestinal inflammation, contraction, and pain in conditions like inflammatory bowel disease. CB2 receptors are very interesting as drug targets because they don’t give you the high that you get from cannabis when you stimulate CB1 receptors (which is often an unwanted side effect). Endocannabinoids can attach to either receptor. The effects depend on where in the body the receptor is and which endocannabinoid it binds to. For example, endocannabinoids could target CB1 receptors in a spinal nerve to relieve. Others could bind to a CB2 receptor on your immune cells and send a message that your body is inflamed, a common sign of autoimmune diseases. Enzymes break down endocannabinoids after they have done their work. Two enzymes are involved in this process: AEA monoacylglycerol acid lipase usually breaks down 2-AG, and fatty acid amide hydrolase, breaks down AEA monoacylglycerol acid. Many of us are familiar with our bodies’ transmitter systems, such as the sympathetic nervous system, which controls our fight-or-flight response. Fewer people have heard of the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which was only recently discovered. This is surprising when you consider how critical the ECS is to almost every part of our day-to-day functioning. There are many claims about how THC and CBD, two cannabinoids found in cannabis, can help people feel better. With so many seemingly unrelated benefits, you may wonder if it’s simply an exaggeration from those who want to see the overall legalization. Most of these claims, however, are backed up by medical research, and the different effects must be caused by the size and scope of the endocannabinoid process. Again, the endocannabinoid system may be one of the star players in why your body’s internal processes stay stable. But we still don’t know much about it, though. As scientists learn more about the ECS, it might become the key to treating a number of health problems. At the moment, the ECS is the focus of a lot of new research and drug development on a global scale.
  • What is CBD Isolate?
CBD isolate is exactly how it sounds; pure, isolated cannabidiol. CBD isolate comes in a white crystalline powder and is 99% pure CBD. It is odorless and tasteless, making it an easy and efficient way to get your daily dose. During the extraction process, oils, waxes, chlorophyll, and other plant matter are removed from the herb. This process leaves you with nothing but pure cannabidiol. We source locally to ensure our product has no additives or contaminants and is grown according to organic standards.
  • How does Delta 10 THC affect the body?
Though there is little research done on how Delta 10 THC affects the body, it likely interacts with the endocannabinoid system in similar ways as other THC compounds. Delta 10 may interact similarly with CB1 receptors but is known to be less psychoactive than Delta 9 and even Delta 8. It is known that delta 10 can potentially provide a psychoactive effect. However, it has a lower psychotropic potency than Delta 8 and Delta 9 so it can provide a less intense feel. Users describe effects and experiences that resemble those of Sativa cannabis strains. Delta 10 may appeal to a mass audience that is looking for psychoactive benefits without the adverse side effects, such as paranoia and anxiety, that some users experience with Delta 9. Delta-10 is thought to produce a “functional high.” Will you fail a drug test with Delta 10? Yes, you can. Drug tests are not that sophisticated to distinguish what kind of THC compound is in the body. Delta-10 THC will most likely register as THC on standard drug tests due to its chemical structures close resemblance to Delta-9 THC.
  • Delta-8 THC Effects
Despite its name, it does not have the same kind of intoxicating effects as Delta 9 THC. While it can alter and elevate your mood, it is far less intoxicating and much more functional than Delta 9 THC. It can give a moderate “buzz” but without the same levels of intoxication, anxieties, or paranoia typically associated with Delta 9 THC. Clear head Calm, Focus Happy, Motivated Anti-nausea Delta-8 THC can be intoxicating to some people. Do not drive or operate any machinery while using this product. There are no long-term, definitive studies on the effects of Delta-8 THC and therefore please consult a physician before using it. Do not use this product in any manner not recommended by a doctor. This Delta-8 THC may affect blood pressure, heart rate, and/or intraocular pressure in some people. If you have any known or unknown heart, blood pressure, eye, eye pressure, or similar/related issues, do not use this product unless recommended by a doctor.
  • What is the endocannabinoid system (ECS)?
Let us examine the word “endocannabinoid.” The term “cannabinoid” is derived from the word “cannabis,” and “endo” is an abbreviation for “endogenous,” which means that it is produced naturally in the body. Therefore, the term “endocannabinoid” simply refers to cannabis-like substances naturally occurring within our bodies. The ECS is a system in the human body named after the plant responsible for its discovery – cannabis. To comprehend the ECS, it is essential to know what homeostasis means. Homeostasis refers to your body’s attempts to make sure everything is in the proper zone. It strives to keep your body’s internal environment stable and at its best, no matter what is going on externally. Think about the gauges located on the dashboard of a car or airplane. These tell the operator what is happening in the right zone. Just like the electronic systems in automobiles and airplanes, your body is also working to keep track of essential processes and levels in your body. Is your temperature unusually high or low, or is it just right? Are your hormone levels in line with what they should be? Is your heart beating too quickly? Do you need fuel or rest? Is there too much of something stockpiling in your bloodstream or within your cells? If something happens outside of normal limits, your body will activate the ECS to fix the problem. For example, when you’re feeling extremely hot and sweating, you should thank your ECS for helping you cool down. Stomach growling? It’s your ECS reminding you to eat because you need energy.

  • How does the Endocannabinoid System work?
The ECS is made up of a vast network of chemical signals and cell receptors spread out all over our brains and bodies. ECS’s function is well-organized. It is carried by three key components: endocannabinoids, receptors, and enzymes. Endocannabinoids Our bodies make molecules called endocannabinoids, which have the same shape as molecules in the cannabis plant and work to stimulate these receptors. So far, experts have found two key endocannabinoids: 2-AG, or 2-arachidonoylglycerol, is the most common cannabinoid. It controls appetite, pain response, and how the immune system works. Anandamide (AEA), which is often called the “the bliss molecule,” is responsible for the runner’s high and the feelings of euphoria that come from play, yoga, and meditation. These keep internal processes running smoothly. Your body produces them when needed, so it’s hard to say what normal levels are for each.
  • Benefits of Delta-9 THC + CBD
Those who use Delta-9 THC + CBD products have found it helps with: Sleep - Though effects can vary by individuals based on dosage and reaction, Delta-9 THC can provide relaxation properties. This can improve sleep when falling asleep faster and sleeping through the night. Stress - When THC interacts with receptors in the brain, it can increase one’s mood, lowering stress levels. Chronic stress is linked to six leading causes of death. Lowering stress long term can potentially be beneficial to individuals who suffer from anxiety and symptoms of PTSD. Pain Management - Delta-9 THC has pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. When medical marijuana was legalized, it was to aid pain management such as individuals with glaucoma and cancer patients. Those with glaucoma report THC relieves them from migraines that can be debilitating. Nausea - Cancer patients not only reported that Delta-9 THC has helped with pain, but also shown to be effective for calming the stomach, and helping individuals keep their food down. In 1985, the FDA approved a drug made with synthetic THC, Marinol to treat nausea caused by chemotherapy and AIDS-related anorexia. Please note our Delta-9 THC products are not intended for medical use.

  • What is Delta 10 THC and its effect?
Delta-10 THC is one of the hundreds of cannabinoids you can find in the hemp plant. However, it appears in such minute amounts that it can be time-consuming to extract from hemp and cannabis strains. Therefore, with proper experience and equipment, Delta 10 can be produced in a similar conversion process to one used for producing Delta 8 THC. Delta 10 is an isomer with compounds that share an identical chemical formula to Delta 8 but are arranged differently. Due to the slight difference in chemical structure, this can translate into a completely new experience for the user. While Delta-10 isn’t quite as popular as Delta-8 yet, it’s gaining popularity for its more cerebral, sativa-like head high that’s still gentler than what you get from recreational cannabis (delta-9), without too many rushing thoughts or paranoia. Delta 10 is generally considered more uplifting, therefore, may promote mood-lifting properties. Since it can resemble Sativa cannabis strains, it can stimulate mood and brain function overall, increasing enthusiasm and motivation. Users reported heightened focus, alertness, energy, and creativity. Delta- 10 is perfect for daytime use. Euphoria Creativity Energy Focus Happy Motivate
